Terms of Service

Last updated: May 17, 2026

Please read these terms carefully before using Novus Music Visualizers. The key thing to know upfront: you own every export you create.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Novus Music Visualizers ("Service", "we", "us", "our") operated by Novus Stream Solutions, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Service Description

Novus Music Visualizers is a browser-based tool that lets you create audio-reactive music visualizer videos using 111+ engine families. The Service includes:

  • A real-time visualizer editor with customizable settings and presets
  • Template library with 4,520+ presets across 2D, 3D, 4D, and Advanced variants
  • Video export to MP4 and other formats
  • Album art editor and related tools
  • Community sharing features
  • Optional AI captions (on-device Whisper transcription)

The Service is provided "as is". We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

3. Account Registration

A Google account is required to save projects and publish community content. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately at visualizers@novusstreamsolutions.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property — You Own Your Exports

You own what you create.

All video files you export from Novus Music Visualizers are yours — fully and permanently. You may use them commercially or personally, anywhere in the world, without restriction, without attribution, and without paying any licensing fees to Novus.

The Novus platform itself (code, engines, UI, templates, branding) is proprietary and owned by Novus Stream Solutions. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reverse-engineer the platform software.

You are responsible for ensuring you hold the necessary rights to any audio you load. Novus is not liable for copyright infringement resulting from audio content you use.

5. Community Guidelines

When using community features, you agree not to post content that:

  • Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory
  • Contains sexually explicit material
  • Promotes violence or illegal activities
  • Is spam, misleading, or deceptive
  • Contains malware, phishing links, or harmful code

By submitting community content, you grant Novus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the Service. You retain all underlying ownership rights.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or extract source code from the platform
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download templates or assets without permission
  • Use automated bots to interact with the Service
  • Impersonate other users or Novus staff
  • Transmit viruses or other malicious code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Free Access & Advertising

Novus is completely free.

All features — including unlimited video exports, every engine family (2D, 3D, 4D, and Advanced variants), all editor tools, and community features — are available at no cost. There are no paid tiers, no export limits, and no credit card required.

The Service is funded by non-personalized advertisements served through Google AdSense. By using the Service, you acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed within the application. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers. You may use an ad blocker, though doing so reduces the revenue that keeps Novus free for everyone.

8. DMCA & Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to visualizers@novusstreamsolutions.com with:

  • A description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content
  • Your contact information
  • A statement of good faith belief and accuracy under penalty of perjury
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We will process valid DMCA notices promptly and remove infringing content.

9. AI Features

The AI captions feature runs entirely on-device using Transformers.js. No audio data is transmitted to Novus or any third party during transcription. By using AI features, you acknowledge:

  • AI transcriptions may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing them before publishing
  • Model weights are governed by the applicable Hugging Face / OpenAI Whisper model license, which permits both non-commercial and commercial use

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novus Stream Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed USD $100.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in activity harmful to other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Exported video files already on your device remain yours to keep under the terms above.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice before material changes take effect, either by email or by displaying a notice in the Service. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may terminate your account before the effective date.
