Classic and Studio
Understand the two editors and move between them without serialization loss.
Describes Novus v4.7, released .
Classic
Classic renders the same control schemas as Studio in a focused workflow for audio, engine mode, geometry, direction, color, captions, logos, overlays, beat effects, trim, recommendations, and export.
Studio
Studio exposes the normalized layer tree, node graph, timeline, inspector, asset browser, direct canvas manipulation, and character rig workspace on desktop, tablet, and phone.
Round trips
Both editors edit one `NovusComposition`. Classic preserves graph and timeline data it does not expose, so opening a document in either editor does not flatten it. The shared graph evaluator runs live in Studio preview and Classic playback, so LFO, math, envelope, remap, merge, and effect nodes change the image in both editors.
Keep going
Looking up a word rather than a workflow? The glossary defines every term the editor uses. For what a specific control does on a specific engine, the engine reference publishes the full control table.
