Restyle any scene in one click with the nine palette presets, then fine-tune individual colors — and keep them consistent with your branding.
Before you start
Color is the fastest way to make a template feel like yours. Novus gives you two levels of control: one-click palettes for an instant restyle, and per-parameter pickers when you want exact colors.
Open Theme & Colors and click one of the nine presets: Neon, Sunset, Ocean, Midnight, Forest, Gold, Plasma, Rose, and Arctic. Applying one pushes the palette across every color the engine uses, so nothing is left in the old scheme. This alone is usually enough to give a video its own identity.
Match the palette to the mood
Warm palettes (Sunset, Gold, Rose) read energetic and intimate; cool ones (Ocean, Midnight, Arctic) read spacious and modern; Neon and Plasma read as club energy. Our blog covers this in Choosing the Right Engine for Your Genre.
For precise control, open Engine Parameters — the section that holds your specific engine's settings, including its individual color pickers, plus speed and density. Change one picker at a time and watch the preview; small shifts (a slightly warmer primary, a deeper background) often do more than a whole new palette.
The strongest channels reuse the same small palette everywhere. Pick two or three hex values and pull your engine primary, your Text Color (in Text Overlay), and your logo glow from that same set. Changing the engine between videos is good for variety; changing the palette and layout at the same time is what makes a channel look scattered. Write your hex values down so the next video matches exactly.
