When your visualizer is ready, export it as a video file that you can upload to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or use in any video editor. This guide walks through the export process step by step.
Starting an Export
Scroll to the 'Export Settings' section at the bottom of the Settings panel. Choose your resolution, frame rate, and format. Then click the 'Export' button.
The export runs frame by frame through your audio. A progress bar appears at the top of the canvas showing the percentage complete. Do not close the browser tab during export — this will cancel the render.
Tips
- →30 fps offers the best balance of visual smoothness and file size for most use cases. Use 60 fps only if your platform supports it and file size isn't a concern.
Export Progress
Export speed depends on the resolution, frame rate, number of effects, and your device's processing power. A 3-minute track at 1080p 30fps typically exports in 2–5 minutes on a modern device.
3D engine exports (Tunnel, Terrain, Vortex, Character Wave, Ascension) take longer than 2D exports because of the WebGL rendering overhead. Plan for 2× the time compared to a 2D engine at the same settings.
File Download
When the export completes, your browser will automatically prompt you to save the file. The filename defaults to your project name with the appropriate extension (.mp4 or .webm).
If the download doesn't start automatically, check your browser's popup/download blocker settings and allow downloads from visualizers.novusstreamsolutions.com.
Export Quality Settings
Resolution and frame rate directly determine file quality and size. The Format setting (MP4 vs WebM) affects compatibility — see the Video Formats article for details.
For most social platforms, 1080×1080 (square) at 30fps MP4 is the safest universal choice. For YouTube, 1920×1080 (16:9) at 30fps gives the best quality.
