Projects are saved drafts of your visualizer work-in-progress. This guide explains how to save, resume, organise, and delete your projects.
Saving Projects as Drafts
While in the editor, click 'Save Draft' in the top bar at any time. You'll be prompted to enter a project name. The draft saves your chosen template, all configuration settings, audio file reference, trim range, and captions.
Use descriptive names like 'Song Title - Spectrum Blue v2' so you can identify projects quickly in the Dashboard list.
Tips
- →Save drafts frequently — the editor state is not auto-saved. Closing the browser tab will lose unsaved changes.
Resuming a Draft
Go to your Dashboard and find the project in the Projects section. Click the project card to open it in the editor, fully restoring all settings from when you last saved.
Deleting Projects
On the Dashboard, hover over a project card to reveal the action menu. Click 'Delete' to permanently remove the project. Deleted projects cannot be recovered, so be sure before deleting.
Deleting a project does not delete any exported video files you have already downloaded — those are saved locally on your device.
Custom Templates
After saving a project, click 'Save as Template' in the editor to create a reusable template from the current configuration. Custom templates appear in the Templates Gallery under 'Custom' and are private to your account.
Custom templates are separate from projects — deleting a project does not delete any custom template you derived from it.
