Chroma Shift renders the waveform in three offset color channels (red, green, blue) that drift apart on transient hits, creating a vivid chromatic aberration effect. Six modes control the overall shape: split draws independent colored lanes; wave uses a smooth sinusoidal trace; bars draws frequency columns; mirror reflects left-right; radial wraps the waveform in a circle; and scatter sprays particles per band.
Key Features
Parameters
| Parameter | Description | Range / Options |
|---|---|---|
| Chroma Shift Mode | split / wave / bars / mirror / radial / scatter | Select |
| Aberration Amount | How far the RGB channels split on transients | 0.0-3.0 |
| Wave Height | Amplitude of the waveform displacement | 0.1-3.0 |
Tips & Best Practices
- 1
Scatter mode pairs well with Transient Emphasis at 1.5+ for dramatic pops.
- 2
Mirror mode is ideal for symmetrical album art compositions.
- 3
Combine with Neon City as a second layer for dense color compositions.
