Plasma Web

Drifting plasma nodes connected by electric filaments reacting to audio

2D CanvasMediumBest for: Electronic, Cinematic, Tech content, Neural themes

Plasma Web simulates a dynamic graph of glowing nodes that drift across the canvas. Nodes within a configurable link distance are connected by luminous filaments whose opacity and thickness are driven by the FFT amplitude of assigned frequency bands. Beat events cause all nodes to briefly flare outward. Six modes change how nodes are arranged and how links are drawn.

Tips & Best Practices

  1. 1

Circuit mode uses orthogonal Manhattan routing — great for a tech/data aesthetic.

  2. 2

Corona mode places one central node that all others connect to — like a star topology.

  3. 3

Charged mode enables node repulsion physics for a dynamic spread effect.

Export Performance

2D Canvas engine. Link count scales with Node Count squared — keep Node Count below 80 for smooth export.
