Warp Field draws a high-resolution mesh grid and displaces each intersection point using multiple overlapping wave functions driven by audio frequency bands. Beats spawn shockwave origin points that radiate outward through the field. The result looks like curved spacetime, lens distortion, or gravitational wave propagation. Six modes control how the field distortion evolves.
Key Features
Parameters
| Parameter | Description | Range / Options |
|---|---|---|
| Warp Field Mode | ripple / lensing / shockwave / warp / collapse / expansion | Select |
| Field Density | Number of grid cells per axis | 8–64 |
| Warp Strength | Displacement amplitude multiplier | 0.1–5.0 |
Tips & Best Practices
- 1
Shockwave mode is most impressive during bass drops — origins spawn and expand radially.
- 2
Collapse mode pulls all grid points toward the center on beats.
- 3
Higher Field Density (48+) with low Warp Strength creates very subtle, beautiful micro-distortions.
Export Performance
2D Canvas engine. Field Density above 48 increases draw calls significantly — use 24–32 for export performance.
