Crystal Cave renders a Three.js scene of faceted crystal formations whose emissive intensity pulses with frequency band assignments. Each crystal is assigned to a specific FFT band so different parts of the cave light up with different parts of the spectrum. Cavern uses deep purple; Alien glows vivid green; Ice is cold blue; Amethyst is deep violet; Golden gives warm metallic amber tones.
Key Features
Parameters
| Parameter | Description | Range / Options |
|---|---|---|
| Crystal Cave Mode | cavern / alien / ice / amethyst / golden | Select |
| Crystal Count | Number of crystal formations in the scene | 8–60 |
| Crystal Scale | Size multiplier for each crystal formation | 0.3–2.0 |
| Cave Color | Base emissive hue for crystal glow | Hex color |
Tips & Best Practices
- 1
Crystal Count above 40 creates a dense cave — keep below 30 for older GPUs.
- 2
Ice mode pairs beautifully with ambient, classical, and ethereal music.
- 3
Use as a solo engine for cinematic visualizer content — it fills the frame with natural depth.
Export Performance
3D WebGL engine. Each crystal uses instanced geometry; Crystal Count above 50 may affect performance on integrated GPUs.
