Synaptic Fire 3D

3D neural network where neurons fire on beats and signals propagate through 3D synaptic connections

3D WebGLMediumBest for: Experimental, Electronic, Ambient, Sci-Fi

Synaptic Fire 3D renders a 3D brain-inspired neural network with spherical neuron nodes connected by glowing synapse tubes. Audio transients trigger individual neuron firing events that cascade through the network. Six modes represent different neural states from dormant cortex to full storm, each changing firing probability, propagation speed, and visual intensity.

Parameters

ParameterDescriptionRange / Options

Neuron CountNumber of 3D neurons20–200
Firing ThresholdAudio level required to trigger firing0.1–1.0

Tips & Best Practices

  1. 1

cascade mode creates chain reactions — beautiful with percussive music.

  2. 2

inhibit mode fires then suppresses, creating pulsing dark periods that match slow music.
