Morph Grid

Grid of cells morphing between geometric shapes driven by frequency

2D CanvasMediumBest for: Electronic, Experimental, Geometric visuals

Morph Grid draws a configurable grid where each cell smoothly transitions between circle, square, triangle, and star shapes based on the amplitude of its assigned FFT band. Cells with higher frequency energy morph more aggressively and glow brighter. Six modes change the morphing pattern — from smooth flow to crystalline snapping to bloom expansion.

Tips & Best Practices

  1. 1

Crystallize mode snaps cells to hard-edged shapes — great for glitch aesthetics.

  2. 2

Bloom mode radiates shapes outward from center on beats.

  3. 3

Pair with low Morph Speed (0.5) for a hypnotic slow transition effect.
