Fluid Wave 3D applies the same Navier-Stokes fluid solver but maps the density field onto vertex Y positions of a Three.js PlaneGeometry mesh. The result is a physically-simulated fluid surface viewed in 3D. Audio force injection makes the surface ripple, erupt, and flow based on the selected mode.
Key Features
Parameters
| Parameter | Description | Range / Options |
|---|---|---|
| Fluid Wave 3D Mode | laminar / turbulent / vortex-sheet / kelvin / boundary / fountain | Select |
| Viscosity | Fluid resistance | 0.01–1.0 |
| Force Strength | Audio force injection intensity | 0.1–3.0 |
Tips & Best Practices
- 1
The Kelvin mode in 3D produces wave-like undulations across the surface — very cinematic.
- 2
Try with a wire-frame material override for a technical/schematic look.
Export Performance
3D WebGL engine with CPU fluid simulation. The 32×32 mesh is highly optimized — 60fps on most hardware.
